Terms of Use and License

Reference document for downloading and installing VulkanoVM. If your company needs additional clauses (a specific SLA, a standalone DPA, custom terms), contact admin@vulkanovm.com before installing.

1. Purpose

This document governs access to, download, installation and use of VulkanoVM, software owned by RedTech ("we", "RedTech"), distributed in a self-hosted form for installation on Proxmox VE infrastructure owned or controlled by the user ("you", "the customer"). By checking the acceptance box on the download form, you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.

2. Nature of the software and license grant

VulkanoVM is delivered as a single template/image for all service tiers. The contracted tier (Free, Standard or Enterprise) is activated through a digital license uniquely bound to your installation (Instance ID), not through separate software versions.

3. Service tiers and pricing

The resources included in each tier (Free, Standard, Enterprise) and their pricing are published on this site's pricing page, as in effect on the date of purchase. RedTech may update pricing or resource limits for new purchases; installations already active keep the terms in effect at the time they were set up until their next renewal.

4. Billing and renewal

Standard and Enterprise tiers are billed on a recurring basis (monthly, annual or every 2 years, depending on the chosen cycle). Payment confirmation and license activation/renewal are handled manually by RedTech upon receiving the corresponding payment — there is no automatic charge via a payment gateway at the time of download. If a subscription is not renewed, the installation keeps a grace period and, once it expires, is locked for create, edit, delete and VM-control actions, while still allowing existing data to be viewed at all times.

5. Support

Email support through admin@vulkanovm.com is included in the Standard and Enterprise plans. The Free plan does not include support; community and public documentation are the reference channel for that tier. No specific response time is guaranteed under any circumstances, unless agreed otherwise in writing.

6. Personal data processing

This section summarizes the essentials — full detail is in the Privacy Policy. Data provided on the download form (name, company, email, phone) is added to a RedTech record for the following purposes:

The legal basis is the execution of the pre-contractual/contractual relationship initiated by requesting the download. Data is retained for as long as the business relationship exists and, afterwards, for the legally required periods. You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by emailing admin@vulkanovm.com, as well as file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) if you consider it necessary.

7. Intellectual property

VulkanoVM, its code, design, documentation and brand are owned by RedTech. This license grants no right over such intellectual property beyond the use described in section 2.

8. Warranties and liability

The software is provided "as is". RedTech does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by law, RedTech will not be liable for indirect damages arising from use of the software, without prejudice to any legally non-waivable warranties that may apply.

9. Changes

RedTech may update these terms. Substantial changes will be reflected in this page's "last updated" date; continued use of VulkanoVM after an update implies acceptance of the new terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals that correspond under the applicable law.
